Can any one help me with a problem with the USB drives on my laptop!!

I formatted my lappy and installed SP2 and the USB drives work, but only with periperhals that are plugged in when the computer boots up!!

So i cannot put a pen drive in, or anything when the computer is running!! It just doesnt pick them up, but if I restart the computer it works fine!!

Hope some one can help - cheers Jonny

SP2 has some issue with not updating USB drivers after it's been installed. Try updating the drivers for the controllers & then for each USB device.

Which chipset do you have in the laptop?
