Anyone had this error in windows? One suggestion I found was to turn off indexing for the itunes folder, it seemed to work at first but now it pops up just about everytime i open itunes, even when i check the "don't show again" box. Help much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with the ipod. Happens whether it's connected or not.

I would suggest that you start by running a checkdisk and defrag on your computer. This error generally seems to be related to data corruption issue.

Just ran checkdisk (in safe mode) and it seemed to find nothing. I've also defragged my computer many times since the error first appeared.
