hello,

i recently bought this router (http://www.dabs.com/...1177,4294959958) in order to connect my xbox 360 to the internet!

however i have an ADSL modem, and this requires a DSL modem!

is there anyway i can connect my setup as follows........ Phone Plug>Modem>Computer>Wireless router (ie let the computer receive the internet then feed that to the router so it can then distribute it around the house)

thanks in advance

Only, maybe, if you have two NICs, or your router has a USB connection through which it can accept an internet connection....

Using this setup (Phone Plug>Modem>Computer>Wireless router), yes.
As far as the differences & compatibility between ADSL and DSL, I'm clueless. Anyone else?

Why don't you go phone modem router then computer.
Doing it your way you have to have the computer on whenever you want internet access.
Doing it my way only the computer that wants access has to be on.
I can't work out why you would want the computer in between.

I think you will find ADSL & DSL are the same. DSL Being the generic term
The difference is whether you have ADSL or SDSL. The most common for households is ADSL - commonly refered to as DSL.
So I think your connection problem is not whether it is DSL or ADSL more likely a setup issue.
