ebay wont let me sign in

me and my wife have both tried logging in on ebay and it keeps saying my The browser you are using is rejecting cookies but i have tried all the easy privacy settings with nothing fixxing it. i am not sure if i am messing some thing up. but i have done all the stuff it says to do on ebays site to fix this.

Have you tried using Mozilla FireFox? Have you cleared the cookies?

i have never used mozilla or firefox. i kinda like IE. and i just tried delete my cookies and it still wont work.

I would upgrade IE 6 to IE7 via the Mircosoft website.

Click on Tools then Manage add ons. Disable all add ons, see if you can login to Ebay. If yes, one of them is causing the problem. Enable them one or two at a time till you find the culprit.

it wont let me upgrade to IE7 because i have service pack 1.
ztruker i dont have a manage add ons option.

Apply SP2 then. If you are at SP2 you are missing a bunch of security updates and additions to XP.

Once you've done that and applied all updates, post back if your are still having problems.

i installed them installed for some reason ebay was on a blocked list of web sites. but its fixed now.
