Net Framework is preventing opening several applications. When I attempt to uninstall Net Framework 1.1 and 2.0 using Add/Remove The following message appears: the patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid WindowsApplication
application. A file search failed to find the Net Framework 1.1 and 2.0 files or any of the security patches displayed in Add/Remove. One of the applications which will not open is Broderbund PrintMaster. When it attempts to open, the home page displays followed by the message PMW.exe -Application error : The exception unknown software exception 0xc06d007e occurred in the application at location 0x7ce812a5b. Until the problem with net Framework developed, There were no problems with running the application.
