I see this is a popular problem ... My desktop changed and now has a large text message saying "Warning: Spyware threat has been detected on your PC." I cannot connect to the internet with the infected computer, but can with my laptop. I have a little yellow triangle on my toolbar that when I clicked stated I have Trojandownloader.xs. When I click the link to go to the Microsoft web page for instructions on what to do it opens up a page that is trying to sell me a spyware removal program (no other websites will load). I also get alot of additional pop ups and I cannot access the task manager.
