I am exporting a text file off a phone switch. Reports that are already created the link specifications work, but not when you are trying to create a new report.
Process:
exports a text file-
import into a table- this is the problem. I cannot figure out how to get columns and rows manipulated from a text file.
In the process i run currently it imports into an access database- and the link specs are the little ****not pad*** symbols you see in the tables.
End of it is: i need to take the data in the text format and get it into a column. Names, Dates, and several other fields.
The file attached is directly how it is exported out.
Any help greatly appreciated
