1. The problem concerns only Internet Explorer, not Firefox etc..

when opening IE, everything in the application lags, except loading pages.
when typing in a new internet-adress, typing is delayed.
when I try to push the button that says "Settings", the action is delayed,

everything is delayed, does anyone have any knowledge about this?

Some malware targets IE but not other web-browsers, and are known to cause the the symptoms you describe. You should first check for this possibility before looking elsewhere:

1. Download and run 'HijackThis' from here: http://www.spywarein....php#hijackthis

2. Do not attempt to 'fix' anything yourself with HJT.

3. Post the HJT log here please (only here): http://www.geekstogo...o-Here-f37.html

4. You will receive instructions on what to do next, but please be patient as the number of HJT logs being posted has increased dramatically.

thank you very much, but i solved the problem by using the manufacturers recovery-application.
