Hey guys,
Since Sunday, my PC has been stuttering under VERY MILD CPU stress. Like...I run a youtube video and it freezes for a second.

It even goes far enough to freeze, like during an episode of Arrested Development, or on a loading screen for Call of Duty 4.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled the newest driver for my graphics card, and it is still freezes and being a douche.

What do you think is the problem?

I've already run a hard drive "doctor" test from tuneup utilities (for like 4 hours), adware, spyware, virus, etc etc scans.

I'm pretty much fed up with it.

I'm running XP SP2, btw.

I don't think it's:
the Video card
the hard drive (tested through and through)

If anyone has any suggestions or solutions, let me know asap.

It sucks spending $2700 on a PC that barely works. :[

(BTW, I've read some past threads about this problem, but to no avail)
