A few days ago my computer started displaying a lot of popups up saying my pc had spyware, malware and at risk for all kinds of things. I kept clicking no and closing the windows until finally clicking yes on one of them. After that my wallpaper turned into a red screen with some sort of symbol and my keboard no longer responds after booting into windows. The keyboard works fine when entering my system bootup password so I know it's not a keyboard issue. I'm on an IBM Thinkpad running Windows XP.

I did run Smitfraudfix and the red wallpaper is gone but my keyboard is still not working.
