My computer has been infected with viruses and spyware! It's so bad that my computer has become so slow and I can't even get online! In fact, I had to post up this log on another computer. I did as many steps provided with my lack of internet access and have run adaware, spybot, and anti-virus software. I'd REALLY appreciate some help getting rid of this! Thanks in advance!

Hello

Before we begin, you should save these instructions in Notepad to your desktop, or print them, for easy reference. Much of our fix will be done in Safe mode, and you will be unable to access this thread at that time. If you have questions at any point, or are unsure of the instructions, feel free to post here and ask for clarification before proceeding.

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
  • Choose your usual account.
Once in Safe Mode, double-click on SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart it into Normal Windows.
A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process; please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.
The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Warning : running option #2 on a non infected computer will remove your Desktop background.

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • If your anti-virus or firewall complains, please allow this script to run as it is not malicious.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

Hello

A malicious .DLL file is disrupting the LSP chain on your computer. We need to get rid of it.
  • Please download LSPFix from here.
  • Run the LSPFix.exe that you have just finished downloading.
  • Check the I know what I'm doing box.
  • In the Keep box you should see one or more instances of C:\Program Files\webHancer\Programs\webhdll.dll
  • Select every instance of C:\Program Files\webHancer\Programs\webhdll.dll and move each one to the Remove box by clicking the >> button.
  • When you are done click Finish>>.

Reboot and do this

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
  • Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
  • Close any open browsers.
  • Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
    • Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.

      -----------------------------------------------------------

    • Close any open browsers.
    • WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
    • Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
    • If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

  • Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**

Hi,

I've ran LSPFix and Combofix. I actually ran Combofix 2 times because I thought it froze (I didn't click on anything and followed all directions given) and no log was able to come up. However, my internet connection is back, so I'm guessing Combofix did help? Thanks so much for helping!

Below is my Hijack log:

Hello

You have two anti-virus programs, Norton and McAfee, you need to remove one of these

1. Please re-open HiJackThis and choose do a system scan only. Check the boxes next to ONLY the entries listed below(if present):

2. Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, including browsers, so that nothing other than HijackThis is open, then click Fix Checked. A box will pop up asking you if you wish to fix the selected items. Please choose YES. Once it has fixed them, please exit/close HijackThis.

1. Close any open browsers.

2. Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

File::
C:\WINDOWS\ss245sd.exe
C:\WINDOWS\jytgpgla.dll
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\fgzwzyru.dll

Folder::
C:\Program Files\QdrDrive
C:\Program Files\QdrModule
C:\Program Files\QdrPack

Save this as CFScript.txt, in the same location as ComboFix.exe

Posted Image

Refering to the picture above, drag CFScript into ComboFix.exe

When finished, it shall produce a log for you at "C:\ComboFix.txt"

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Reboot and post a new HijackThis log

Hi,

So I tried Combofix again with your instructions and again it didn't produce me a log. I always get stuck at the deleting files and folder stage, and nothing else pops up. I've uninstalled both Norton and McAfee, and checked for any other programs that may interfere as well.

However, here's the new hijack this log.

Looking good

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan. Check all the boxes and click Start Scan
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.

Reboot and do this

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • If your anti-virus or firewall complains, please allow this script to run as it is not malicious.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

Hello

Please download the OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer.
  • Save it to your desktop.
  • Please double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it.
  • Copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy):

    [kill explorer]
    C:\WINDOWS\WVMgk4SO8M.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\lahspqbe.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\vuauowap
    C:\WINDOWS\dspqdehu.dll
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\fgzwzyru.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\jytgpgla.dll
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\mountpoints2\{9a250cdb-2242-11da-b8c3-806d6172696f}
    purity
    [start explorer]
  • Return to OTMoveIt2, right click in the "Paste List of Files/Folders to Move" window (under the light Yellow bar) and choose Paste.
  • Click the red Moveit! button.
  • A log of files and folders moved will be created in the c:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles folder in the form of Date and Time (mmddyyyy_hhmmss.log). Please open this log in Notepad and post its contents in your next reply.
  • Close OTMoveIt2
If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

Hello,

So I ran OTMoveIt2 and the program always froze when it was working on:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\fgzwzyru.dll

Therefore, I was unable to obtain a log for this. However, in the folder that it created. there are files inside.

Here are the DSS logs:
