Hi And thank you first

I have a laserjet with built in network function. The printer has been assigned an IP Address My Vista Machines see the printer and can print to it. My Xp Machines do not see the printer in the browse printers or when I enter in the static IP address for the printer I It says that the IP address is no good. Its the same Address that my vista machines are printing too. I'm lost

Thank you,
