Hey everyone, would you be willing to help? I can't get this bestrevenue stuff off of my computer and it's slow. I'll post my hijackthis log. I think that's what others have done for help.

My computer is slow with this best revenue crap. It seems like it comes up more frequently when I login to my yahoo mail, too. Thank you for your help!!!

Hi theJill,

Not looking to bad if all goes well we should be able to fix you right up pretty quick .

You said your system was running slow….one of the biggest causes of this is running 2 antivirus at the same time I see you are running Avast and AVG 7 It is strongly recommended that you run only one antivirus program at a time. Having more than one antivirus program active in memory uses additional resources; slows your system, and can result in program conflicts and false virus alerts. If you choose to install more than one antivirus program on your computer, then only one of them should be active in memory at a time. I would recommend uninstalling one of the two.

Now lets get rid of that best revenue problem you are having….


Please download DelDomains.zip and unzip it to your desktop.
Ensure ALL Internet Explorer windows are closed.
Right click the DelDomains.inf file inside and click "Install"
You won't see anything happen, it performs a silent process.

Fix with HijackThis


(You should print out these instructions, or copy them to a NotePad file for reading while in Safe Mode, because you will not be able to connect to the Internet to read from this site.)

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis (especially Internet Explorer!), then click Fix Checked. Close HiJackThis. Reboot into safe mode..(Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.)

Please go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following (if present):

CPV

Please note any other programs that you don’t recognize in that list in your next response

Using Windows Explorer (to get there right-click your Start button and go to "My Computer", or Hold down the Windows Key + E ), please delete these folders (if present):

C:\Program Files\CPV

After that, Reboot, and post a new HijackThis log here in your reply, also let me know how your system is running.
