Can someone guide through COMPLETE removal of Zune software please?

We are having trouble with the Zune software not starting up anymore and from what research I have done, we are not the only ones. The impression I have gotten is that re need to remove ALL SIGNS of the Zune software before reinstalling.

Since I only really trust this site, I was hoping someone here could help me out. I have already uninstalled it from the Control Panel. What else? REGEDIT???

hello welcome to Geeks to go

first of all go to start -->Run.

type msconfig

then go to startup tab and uncheck all processes related with Zune

let me know if this helps or not
