Error Run a DLL as an aplication and DrWatson[RESOLVED]

Every time i right click my desk top and click on properties, i get two Error messages; Run a DLL as an Application and DrWatson Postmortem Debugger. I had nortons anit virus,but subscription ended so yesterday i bought a new one and installled and ran it. I followed the advice on "start here' before I posted. I downloaded and ran spybot, Ad-aware, CW Shredder and CCleaner. I let everything get rid of everything, but being computer illiterate I was afraid to let Spybot get rid of several things it listed because I was afraid of ruining my computer, those things were: DSO Exploit, Roings, Cydoor, Conducent TimeSink. I would like to know if I should let it fix those things, or to leave them be. I downloaded HijackThis, and ran it, here is my log:

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked. Reboot into safe mode.

Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Please remove these entries from Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel(if present):

QuickSearchBar or QuickBar

Please note any other programs that you dont recognize in that list in your next response

Please delete these folders using Windows Explorer(if present):

C:\Program Files\Quickbar

After that, Reboot.

Then post a fresh HiJackThis log.

I did not find QuickSearchBar or QuickBar but did Find Quick!Toolbar and removed it. An error came up said Caoonot unregister quickbar.dll

I took another log, and it's listed below.

Also when i logged on computer my new Norton Personal Firewall said it stopped a virus. Said Security Alert created for Default Block Bla Trojan horse rule.

Please download Spybot Search & Destroy and AdAware.

Follow all the instructions on this website to run a scan with both of these softwares.

Please run an on-line virus scan at Kaspersky OnLine Scan or if that doesnt work, you can use TrendMicro or BitDefender. (Please post the results of the scan(s) in your next reply)

Your log is clean. How are things running?

The following is a list of tools and utilities that I like to suggest to people. This list is full of great tools and utilities to help you understand how you got infected and how to keep from getting infected again.
  • Spybot Search & Destroy - Uber powerful tool which can search and annhilate nasties that make it onto your system. Now with an Immunize section that will help prevent future infections.
  • AdAware - Another very powerful tool which searches and kills nasties that infect your system. AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy compliment each other very well.
  • SpywareBlaster - Great prevention tool to keep nasties from installing on your system.
  • SpywareGuard - Works as a Spyware "Shield" to protect your computer from getting malware in the first place.
  • IE-SpyAd - puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
  • CleanUP! - Cleans temporary files from IE and Windows, empties the recycle bin and more. Great tool to help speed up your computer and knock out those nasties that like to reside in the temp folders.
  • Windows Updates - It is very important to make sure that both Internet Explorer and Windows are kept current with the latest critical security patches from Microsoft. To do this just start Internet Explorer and select Tools > Windows Update, and follow the online instructions from there.
  • Google Toolbar - Free google toolbar that allows you to use the powerful Google search engine from the bar, but also blocks pop up windows.
  • Trillian or Miranda-IM - These are Malware free Instant Messenger programs which allow you to connect to multiple IM services in one program! (AOL, Yahoo, ICQ, IRC, MSN)
