Hi

I have just tried to play a zone 1 DVD on my computer and I have received a message saying that I need to change from the current zone 4 to zone 1 - no problems. However, the message also says that I can only make this change a total of 4 times.

Could someone advise -

why this is so
what does it do to the player
is there a solution to this as I want to play this DVD more than 4 times

Thanks

Steve

This is normal behaviour for PC DVD Players, the region can only be set five times, after that it'll be fixed on the last region set.
You may be able to obtain a firmware flash for the drive that converts it to Region 0 which means in theory it should be able to play any DVD from any region.
