Make sure you add something about Ruby.

http://poignantguide.net/ruby/

It is the most powerful, quick, and dynamic language out there.

Hi all,

1) I am currently searching for a good online website and also a good book that teaches Visual C# .NET step by step from basics to more advanced topics like creating a graphical user interface where a windows form communicates with an external hardware through a serial port.

I would greatly appreciate, if you could help me suggest any good books or good online websites that teaches Visual C# .NET .

2)Which language should i preferably use Visual C++ OR Visual C# . NET OR Visual Basic or others to create a graphical user interface where a windows form communicates with an external hardware through a serial port.

Thanks.
