So I downloaded a program called UUSee when I was trying to find some software to watch the Celtics game from Spain. The program didn't work, so I uninstalled it from my computer. Unfortunately, an add-on/malware remained. This ghastly remnant is some weird chinese toolbar that displays the letters that I am typing on the screen (whether in WOrd, Firefox, etc...) and requires me to press enter before they leave the toolbar and appear in the place I want them too. Not bad for a word or two here or there, but painful when typing multiple sentences. I have run a few different spyware programs including Ad-aware, Spybot, and SUPERAntiSpyware, and the toolbar is still there. How can I find out what it is and then get rid of it???
