email failure / undeliverable by the bucket load [CLOSED]

Hi G2G

something weird here - have started to get hundereds of emails a day from various sources mainly rubbish.
But more worringly i am getting a shed load of returned emails from places I have never sent mail to.

eg - mail undeliverable
- undelivered mail returned to sender

many are coming back from Mailer-Daemon or Mail Delivery System

have run AVG and found nothing
have run Spyware Guard and found nothing

any ideas ???

Hi and sorry for the delay - It may be that your e-mail address has been harvested and is being used to send spam.

But I will have a look at your system :)

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
