Twice in the last few weeks my mother's laptop has forced me to do a system restore. Her virus protection has detected no threat in the meantime. A few days ago it started automatically rebooting itself. It won't stay on long enough for me to log in, let alone run a scan.

The laptop uses Windows Vista. I'm not sure what brand. HP?

My last thread never got an answer. But.. Whatever. The laptop is more important. It's BRAND NEW, it should not have a problem. We barely use it.
