;) Hi

I have an approx 2.5" x 3.5" image on my desktop that I cannot remove. It's like it doesn't exist. If I pass my mouse over it it is not recognized as being anything but desktop.

I can change my desktop image and a couple of seconds later the image also appears.

My boy got it off the internet. And had the grace to look very guilty when I walked into the room.

It does not so far as I can see appear anywhere else on the p.c. e.g. there is not a jpeg of it in 'My Pictures'

I have lived with it now for several months.

It is a cockroach standing in front of what looks like a cannon, I have been told it is taking a toke from a joint. How lovely.

Can anyone give me any idea of how to get rid of this eyesore?

Many Thanks :tazz: ;)

Did you try replacing the image with something from the internet? Set another image as the wallpaper and perhaps it will get rid of it. You've probably already tried this but that's the only thing I can think of since it doesn't sound like spyware.

Thank you so much. It's gone. I didn't believe that I would ever get rid of it.
