DavieJD,
OK a couple of things that we need to do.
This fix will require a few steps. And require sometimes for you to reboot into SafeMode.

We need to disable TeaTimer, temporarily. Otherwise, it could interfere with cleaning your system.
  • Open Spybot S&D.
  • Click MODE, then check ADVANCED MODE, click YES
  • Click TOOLS in bottom left hand corner.
  • Click on SYSTEM STARTUP.
  • Uncheck TeaTimer.
  • Click ALLOW CHANGE.
  • We will enable TeaTimer after your system is clean.
Please follow the instructions provided, you may want to print out these instructions and use them as a reference.

Please download ewido security suite it is a trial version of the program.
  • Install ewido security suite
  • Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
  • The program will prompt you to update click the OK button
  • The program will now go to the main screen
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.
  • On the left hand side of the main screen click update
  • Click on Start
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
Once the updates are installed do the following:
  • Click on scanner
  • Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:
    • Binder
    • Crypter
    • Archives
  • Click on Start Scan
  • Let the program scan the machine
While the scan is in progress you will be prompted to clean files, click OK to proceed.

Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
  • Click Save report
  • Save the report to your desktop
Reboot your machine and post back a new HJT log and the ewido .txt log file you saved by using Add Reply

Thanks,
rstones12

DavieJD,
Good so far, this will take a few more steps.
Make sure to print out these instructions, we will be booting into SafeMode so you wont have access to the Internet.

Download CleanUp
Install the program, dont run it yet, we will later.

Enable show hidden files and folders:

* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

1. Open ewido and check for updates. If any updates are available please download them. Now close ewido security suite. We will run it shortly.

2. Please run Notepad and copy the following text into a new file: (thanks Swandog46)

@ECHO OFF
cd %windir%
Nail.exe /FULLREMOVE
sc config SvcProc start= disabled
sc stop SvcProc
sc delete SvcProc
attrib -s -r -h nail.exe
attrib -s -r -h svcproc.exe
del nail.exe
del svcproc.exe
cd %windir%\system32
attrib -s -r -h DrPMon.dll
del DrPMon.dll
exit

Save the file to the desktop as remove.bat and make sure the "Save as type" field says "All files".

3. Reboot your computer into SafeMode, you can do this by tapping the F8 key while your system starts up, this is an important step.

4. Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on remove.bat. A window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

5. Now scan with HJT and place a checkmark next to the following items.

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

O2 - BHO: BolgerObj Class - {302A3240-4805-4a34-97D7-1645A0B08410} - C:\WINDOWS\Bolger.dll (file missing)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [chcxqzar] C:\WINDOWS\chcxqzar.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [nnsrbk] c:\windows\system32\vuztvp.exe

O16 - DPF: {14A3221B-1678-1982-A355-7263B1281987} - ms-its:mhtml:file://C:\foo.mht!http://82.179.166.14...chm::/trs15.exe
O16 - DPF: {15AD6789-CDB4-47E1-A9DA-992EE8E6BAD6} - http://static.windup...bridge-c283.cab

O23 - Service: System Startup Service (SvcProc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe

Close all open windows except HJT then click Fix Checked

6. Using Windows Explorer remove the following folders/files if present. Dont worry if some are not present.

C:\WINDOWS\chcxqzar.exe <-- File
C:\windows\system32\vuztvp.exe <-- File

7. Now run a full scan with ewido security suite, remove anything it finds.

8. Start CleanUp
When CleanUp starts go to the Options button (right side of CleanUp screen)
Uncheck cookies
This is optional, if you leave the box checked it will remove all of your cookies.
Click OK
Then click on the CleanUp button. This will take a short while, let it do its thing.
When asked to reboot system select No
Close CleanUp

9. Now reboot your computer and post back a new HJT log, as well as the latest ewido log.

Thanks,
rstones12

DavieJD,
Good work, now just some we have to clean up a few things.

Download Pocket Killbox by O^E from http://www.atribune....ads/KillBox.exe.

Then save it to your desktop:

Reboot into Safe Mode. Following the instructions given before.

Double-click on Killbox.exe to run it.
Place the following lines (complete paths) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox, and click the red button with the white X on it after each. Keep track of any files it tells you either could not be found or could not be deleted, as you'll need those later.

C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

Confirm the deletion, when killbox ask you to reboot select NO.

Scan with HJT and place a checkmark next to the following items:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

Close all windows except HJT and then click Fix Checked

Using Window Explorer find and remove the following folders/files if present:

C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe <-- File

Start CleanUp
When CleanUp starts go to the Options button (right side of CleanUp screen)
Uncheck cookies
This is optional, if you leave the box checked it will remove all of your cookies.
Click OK
Then click on the CleanUp button. This will take a short while, let it do its thing.
When asked to reboot system select No
Close CleanUp

Reboot your system normally and post back a new HJT log by using Add Reply

Thanks,
rstones12

DavieJD,

Download FindIt's.zip to your desktop.
Unzip/extract the files inside preferable to C:\ < a new folder.
Open the folder and run the FindIt's.bat and wait for a text to open, it will take awhile be patient, post the results please.

DavieJD,

Please reboot into SafeMode for this part. It sometimes takes a couple of tries before this goes away, so don't get discouraged.

C:\WINDOWS\ATPSZR.EXE

Confirm the deletion, when killbox ask you to reboot select NO.

Now scan with HJT and place a checkmark next to the following items:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

O2 - BHO: BolgerObj Class - {302A3240-4805-4a34-97D7-1645A0B08410} - C:\WINDOWS\Bolger.dll (file missing)

Now close all browsers and open windows except HJT then click Fix Checked

Reboot your system and post back a new HJT log by using Add Reply
This should do it except for a couple of clean up items.

Thanks,

DavieJD,
We need to do this:

Please click on Start | Run then type cmd and press "OK".

In the next box that opens, type cd\
and press "Enter". Now you'll see the C: prompt ... looks like this: C:\>

Type cd\windows
and then Enter.

Next, type nail.exe /FullRemove
(make sure there is a space between nail.exe and the /) ... then Enter.

Reboot into safe mode and run Killbox.

Select "Delete on Reboot".
Copy or type the file name (full path) and enter into the Full File path to Delete input box:

C:\Windows\Nail.exe

Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

Let the system reboot.

Run HijackThis again.
Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

Reboot and finally post a new HJT log by using Add Reply

Thanks,
