What's the best dvd rewriter on the market?

Looking for a dvd burner because the one that came with my PC is bunk!!! Philips with a dell computer!

Looking to buy another thinking external for ease of set up but if anyone suggests internal would be far better might have a go installling one although never done it before!

Suggestions?
