I had adaptec cd creator in my puter when using windows 98. When I switched to xp home I tried to reload and was told to go to Roxio to get new creator. They can't find any record of my old software purchase and say I have to spend big bucks again.

What I am looking for is free software that will allow me to make copies of my cd's. Do you know of any that will be compatible with my xp home version, and allow me to copy ALL my types of cd's? My burner is HP CD-Writer Plus.

Thanks in advance for your help on this......Hipster :)

Here's a program I found. It supports your drive and is able to copy disks.
Enjoy!

for cd copying and burning i recomend Using "Nero" to create a image of ur disc then use "deamon tools" too mount the image on a virtual drive, then u can use the cd as if it was in your cd drive. you can also use "Nero" to burn the image to a disc.
