DVD rom problem

Someone made some (BENQ) dvd's which contain data that is kinda important to me, but my LG DVD/CDRW combo doesn't read them every time. I have 8 DVDs and my dvdrom drive only reads some of them now, and when I try later, it doesn't read them anymore, or it reads the other ones. I only seem to have a problem with PRINCO dvd's (which my dvd drive doesn't read at all) and with BENQ, which it reads every once in a while. I won't use BENQ ever again, but I really need the data on those Dvd's and it's really strange that my pc reads them now, and the next day it doesn't. Is there any way to get this problem fixed so my dvd drive will read BENQ every time?
