When installation is attempted everything works find until the window appears saying 39 minutes left and this is the result:
Error Code 80096001
System error while verifying trust
Failed to install Product catalogs
Fatal Error
Set log should contain more information

Have tried the install about 7 times.

Hi hoffmnaj, welcome to G2G.

Have you tried asking in a Mac forum? Is anyone else successfully running XP under the Mac VPC?

Do you have a USB or PS2 mouse? This post: http://www.experts-e...Q_21473048.html (scroll all the way down, you don't have to join to see the responses) indicates replacing the USB with a PS2 resolved the same error code.

A Google search for run xp under mac virtual pc gets quite a few hits, maybe one of them can help?
