Using an HP 1220C Prof. Series. The driver that came with it and was in use is HPW8KMD.DLL. I mistakenly asked XP to upgrade. Was given UNIDRV.DLL which works ok but it omits some features that were on the older driver. I have the original disk, and I have the original driver files on another disk, but I cannot get XP to accept this any longer. Get error messages such as "Wrong Printer" or else it just quits on me when asking for install, without explanation. XP used this older driver for a long time; how can I get it to accept it now?
