mpeg4 & Windows Movie Maker

Each time I try to import a mpeg4 song into Windows Movie maker, it freezes. Is there any way to convert the mpeg4 to a different format that won't make Windows Movie Maker freeze?

WIndows Movie Maker doesn't talk to MPEG 4 or MP4 files.
You'll need to convert it to either WMA or MP3.
