DON'T KnOW MucH,

The POWER-ON Beeping error you describe is known as a POST error and comes from your PCs BIOS. This indicates a SERIOUS harware issue - i.e. failed processor, memory, BIOS, etc. I attempted to look up your Inspiron model on Dell's tech support site - but can't find anything close to your model under the "Inspiron" category.

You need to either contact DELL directly or go to their support site and enter your system's Service Tag (found on a sticker with a bar code on the back of your PC). Go to:

http://support.dell....o...;l=en&s=gen

Enter your service tag number and you'll be directed to support pages for your specific model/configuration. Again - the problem you're having is due to harware failure and needs to be addresssed directly by Dell.

Hope this helps.
