I need help-How do I secure my wireless home network? I have windows vista home premium-and use my local cable company modem conected to a linksys wireless router. We have a total of four computers on this network and all the other three computers have a built in wirless modem. But my next door neighbor can also see my network. Can I stop this????? HOW???

I've already replied to this question on another thread.

I would run the install CD that came with your LinkSys router. This should run a wizard that allows you to automatically configure wireless security on your router. You can use WPA, WEP or MAC filtering to restrict wireless access to your router. If you're not technical - again, I would run the wizard supplied on the install disk that came with your router. You can also check out www.linksys.com and click on the SUPPORT links, pick your specific router's model and go from there.

Linksys Easylink Advisor is included on the CD your router came with. Here is a link to Linksys' download page.

As John Hook noted, this software should give you options to secure through WEP.
