I need help with my desktop, no icons appear at all! the only way I could get in the internet and other programs is by using the windows task manager...I don't know if i need the recovery cds but unfortunately i can't find them...i have windows XP and i tried to recover with the cd, but it doesn't even open up when i insert the cd...help please

right click on your background and look for an option taht says hide icons or smething like taht

does the problem repeat in safe mode?

How about a different profile?

I right clicked and nothing!!! and in safe mode nothing either...I can only use the explorer or other programs with the task manager..and run them
Thanks anyways, if someone else has another clue whats wrong please write...
