Copmuter is slower

Hi,
i'm having some trouble here. My computer is running slower than usual. Not a lot slower, but just a little. Things are taking a bit longer to move from one folder to next. So i thought it was a virus, but my virus software isn't picking up on anything. (btw i have McAfee Virus Scan). I check my processes in the windows task manager, and i think i have way to many. I have 7 svchost.exe
6 of them are taking up less than 2,000 kilabytes, but one of them is taking up 13,000 K. Everything else seems fine. Do i have a virus??
I use windows XP with service pack 2
512 MB ram
1.6 Mhz CPU
40 GB ram
