[FONT=Arial][SIZE=1]Upon bootup of WinXP SP1 of my Dell 4600, I eventually get (after about 2 minutes) an error popup window titled: SymSPort.exe, which says SymSPort.exe has encountered a problem and needed to close. It creates an error report, which I have sent to Microsoft in the past with the click-button. Any ideas?

SymSPort - SymSPort.exe - Process Information

Process File: SymSPort or SymSPort.exe
Process Name: Symantec Client Firewall Port Scanning Module

Description:
SymSPort.exe is a process belonging to the Sysmantec Internet Security Suite and deals with the protection of your computer against Internet bound threats such as Worms by monitoring incoming traffic. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

I would start by running live update to make sure all of your program settings are current and up to date.
