I had a few serious problems in the past that i handled myself but i just can't get to the end of this one. I "removed" (probably) azesearch toolbar. I did as much as i can with spybot, spysubtract & norton and ended up here, not being able to delete winlspak.dll. Norton says it's adware but can't delete it (and now, he found swi_ci.dll and can't delete that either). And i keep getting a lot of pop-ups that annoy me very much. Pls help me out.... Here is my HJT Log:

Welcome to G2G :tazz:

A malicious .DLL file is disrupting the LSP chain on your computer. We need to get rid of it.
  • Please download LSPFix from here.
  • Run the LSPFix.exe that you have just finished downloading.
  • Check the "I know what I'm doing" box.
  • In the Keep box you should see one or more instances of winlspak.dll.
  • Select every instance of winlspak.dll and move each one to the Remove box by clicking the ">>" button. Make sure winlspak.dll is the only item in the remove column
  • When you are done click "Finish>>".
Next, run HijackThis and put check marks next to the following entries:

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://red.clientapp...://my.yahoo.com
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://red.clientapp...//www.yahoo.com
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapp...rch/search.html
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
O3 - Toolbar: AZE Search - {a19ef336-01d4-48e6-926a-fe7e1c747aed} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\azesearch3.ocx
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [xoyyubo] c:\windows\system32\gpnkzmp.exe
O16 - DPF: {D7BF3304-138B-4DD5-86EE-491BB6A2286C} - http://www.azebar.co.../azesearch3.cab
O20 - Winlogon Notify: SharedDLLs - C:\WINDOWS\system32\r48s0el7ehq.dll

then close all other open windows and click "fix checked"

Next, open up My Computer and delete the following files (if present):

c:\windows\system32\gpnkzmp.exe
c:\windows\system32\winlspak.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\r48s0el7ehq.dll

It may be necessary to show hidden files If you cannot locate the files.

once you've done that, reboot and post a fresh HijackThis log

I don't think i'm out of the clear because norton still detects something in C:\Windows\system32 and when windows starts, it allways displays some message about a .dll i think(i can't remember exactly). Sometimes it even restarts by itself after a couple of minutes after it starts. I don't know what to do know...

no, not quite in the clear yet. the winlspak problem was only one of your issues. You also have a transponder infection which we will deal with now.

However, before we fix that, I notice you do not even have Service Pack 1 installed. This leave you very voulnerable to reinfection which would make further efforts to clean your system futile. Please go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and install Service Pack 1 then post a fresh HijackThis log
