Trouble connecting to iTunes store

Hello -
A few weeks ago I was able to connect to the iTunes store, no problem. Then, a few days ago, I was no longer able to, receiving the following message:

"iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The network connection was reset. Make sure your network connection is active and try again."

I uninstalled my current version of iTunes and reinstalled it, but no luck. I do not have Norton or McAfee. When I run the diagnostics, this is what I get:

In Itunes, go to store, then sign in. Make sure you have signed in.
