Hi,
I recently cleaned my system of a virus, but it is now very slow to load at start-up (more than 60 secs) and it takes longer than usual to load programs.
Please Help.

Let's have a look using this tool...

Go to http://www.bleepingc...to-use-combofix and follow the instructions on how to install the Recovery Console and run ComboFix. Go through all the steps until posting the log part. Post the combofix log here.

Hi,
That was the tool that we used to clean the virus infection. I ran it several times until the PC was clean, should I reinstall it and re-run?
thanks

That tool should not be ran without any supervision. We need to see the logs to verify that it's clean. That tool is not a fix it all tool....it requires human intervention.

I ran it with the guidance of an admin staff, posted the logs, and followed the instructions on how to run it; since I already ran it, should I re-run it once again?

If you had help cleaning the computer recently and were cleared to go, you might want to try asking in the Windows board to see if they have any ideas on how to speed things up. Tell them you were cleared from the Malware board.

If you want me to take a quick look, get Combofix from the link provided (so we know it's the latest version) and run it. Post that log here.
