Ok, here is a list of problems I'm having. :)
  • Startup Apps - Whenever I do Start > Run > msconfig to disable some things that automaticly start on startup, it says I need to be administrator, when I am. This has been happening for a while.
  • Fan Speed? - My case for my computer is a regular HP case that it originally came in, it is currently open right now(side is off), but from time to time(minutes) my fan will be calm, then out of nowhere my fan will go haywire at a crazy fast speed, then calm down for a bit. Could this be dust, and my case being open? It is pretty annoying.
  • CD Burner - I don't know what happened, it used to work, I checked in devices and everything seemed to be ok, now all of a sudden it cant recognize and blank cd's I put in there to burn.

Finally, here is my HJT log. Is there any infections or things that do not need to be running or could be slowing my computer down/causing lag?

Hi there and sorry for the delay - the first thing I notice is that you do not have an Antivirus

First you have to download an antivirus. This program is basic for the security of your computer and in todays age not having one will probably lead to disaster for your computer.

There are several free ones available

Avast
AVG

Then I will need a fresh look at your system

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

That log shows clear and I can see nothing malware related, to confirm that I would like to run an antispy scan

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.

CD Burner - I don't know what happened, it used to work, I checked in devices and everything seemed to be ok, now all of a sudden it cant recognize and blank cd's I put in there to burn.

Have you tried removing the CD driver from with system devices and allowed windows to redetect it on boot ?

Fan Speed? - My case for my computer is a regular HP case that it originally came in, it is currently open right now(side is off), but from time to time(minutes) my fan will be calm, then out of nowhere my fan will go haywire at a crazy fast speed, then calm down for a bit. Could this be dust, and my case being open? It is pretty annoying.

Could be that either your fan is on the way out or your PSU is suspect.

Startup Apps - Whenever I do Start > Run > msconfig to disable some things that automaticly start on startup, it says I need to be administrator, when I am. This has been happening for a while.

Have you been using a registry cleaner as it appears your permissions have been changed. Look at this link and see if it helps http://answers.yahoo...24132345AAm8ABx

The infections found by MBAM were old url links and orphan registry keys with one zip file suspect

Are you experiencing any other problems ?

For my fan, I'm not sure I will have to try cleaning the dust out of it to see if that makes it any better.
And in CP it says I am administrator.

I haven't tried that for my burner, I'll try it.

This programme is a msconfig replacement which shows and enables you to disable startup items. Could you try it and let me know if you still have the same restrictions

Please Download, and Run CodeStuff - Starters
