Hi All
I am preparing to start a small business, and looking for a cost-effective database solution.

It needs to be capable of being mobile and have local back-ups for the remote users, so, in case of no internet, they can use local back up and sync later.

If anyone has experience on both mentioned above, I'd like to hear your " Objective" and "Unbiased"
opinion.

thanks in advance

sorry to break both rules - this is non-objective and biased:

I've been pleasantly surprised with mysql and it plays well with php.

unbiased reply: I prefer mysql over oracle sybase and access
