I think that somewhere in your code, a tag is still open. Paste the code if you can here between [xcode]The code goes here[/xcode] tags. Without the x in front of code.

The background is not moving. It doesn't have the CSI text on this image.

I told you that you had to correct those html and css errors. You have a lot of div tags open for one thing. I design web pages for a living and you need to correct your coding first before you try fixing anything. BG stands for BackGround.

Ron

P.S. My never finished freewebs page. :)

Yes I see that the BG is not moving at all now but on my other page I will need it to scroll. So It may not be working because of all the errors you think.

Sorry Major Payne... I don't know how to fix the errors. I don't know HTML or Css yet.

I was just trying to get the right code down so I can paste it onto my working website... Here http://www.freewebs....ghtcrawler1228/

I was just afraid to experiment over here in fear of losing everything like I said.

So I am pasting it in the right place then. The edit paragraphs? So is this something I would have to do for each page?

No, you see, the CSS file is for that, so you don't have to put the same code over and over again. I just saw you have a .css file there. So, the CSS code we were talking about, you can add it there. I didn't know you had a .css file. The problem could be that in all that tags you have there, there are some errors that are screwing(sorry, didn't know another word) the other tags and hence, distorting the page. The code needs some fixing like Major Payne said.

Since you are using FreeWebs, I can just correct your page and send it to you to totally copy/paste into your index.html file and overwrite all of it. Would you know how to edit your HTML file?

You are going to have problems down the road if you don't fix those errors. Especially in other browsers.

Hey Sockdown I just finally used my brain!!! The current template I am using does not allow CSS... I had no idea until I just saw on the bottom of my page, "If you need CSS use this template." And it directs me to only one type of template that FW offers that is CSS able.

I just changed it over and it worked immediately!!! I was in shock. So now I guess my question is can I change my current template that is not CSS enable to one that is without losing everything.

Would you know?

Thank you so much. I would not have figured this out without you and Major Payne.

Oh hehe, nice. Major Payne that have already worked with freewebs and has more knowledge about css might be able to answer that. I'm glad you fixed the problem. :)
