ok so i joined the army....now i need a laptop.... i was wondering what your thoughts were about this:

http://www.newegg.co...N82E16834220306

i don't know verry much about laptops...or intel at all for that matter...i have been AMD all the way...but the Turion 64 X2 is just out of date compared to this...i think? and does any one know the specs for this new ATI video card?

what battery life should i expect to get?

thanks for your time,

PVT Bossinger

WEll actually if you are in the military do you have an idea where you'll be? you may want to consider a toughbook or something else that's been toughened up.... like maybe a voyager or I believe some of the new lenovo's..... maybe more expensive and lower specs but a high end computer that plays your favorite game but breaks the first time you transfer bases....... or get full of sand and die in iraq....
