If you've already used that entry in 'Add-Remove Programs' to uninstall it but the entry itself is still "stuck" there, you can delete the entry by using "Ccleaner" from here: http://www.ccleaner.com/

When you've installed Ccleaner, open it.
Click on the "Tools" icon on the left (a spanner)
Click the "Uninstall" button on the left.
All your 'Add-Remove' entries are listed.
Click on "Firebird" entry to highlight it
Click "Delete Entry"

Only use this method if you already uninstalled the program but the entry has simply been left behind.

Hm, it still shows on my control panel but doesn't seem to be listed as a program to delete.
