I have a friend who owns a Compaq Presario C700 Laptop. He bought it at Best Buy and the salesman told them it was JUST WHAT THEY NEEDED!

It is running Vista and came with 1GB RAM. I want to help them upgrade by getting another 1GB for the machine so it will run a bit better. Is there some place I can go to find out what RAM is compatible? So I can look up RAM to get them the cheapest (least expensive) I can find.

no problem.... nice thing with crucial also is if you use there selector and buy from them they guarantee it will work with your system....
