Well this is a computer that was given to my wife so the card was installed by someone else. It was working perfect and picking up the wireless signal from my modem before the computer crashed. I went online and searched for the software for this model and installed it on her computer thinking that that was the reason I couldnt get online.(that was before realizing that we had a driver problem) Should I re install that software? maybe its not working because I installed that when the computers ethernet network wasnt working?

yes It seems to have installed the program fine. But when I run it It does not pick up any wireless signals and I know for a fact that there are at least three that I always can detect

ok check this. I opened the machine pulled out the card put i back in. It was then detected by the computer. Now it detects my wireless modem. I put in the wep key and all of that good stuff. Now on the icon on the bottom it shows connected but says limited or low connectivity. and I cant get on the net net. I feel like im so close but yet so far with this machine.what do you think could be the problm?

Hey Pete. Cam has been great and to think I was about five minutes away from paying someone 100 bucks to do this for me. I guess I should save all these drivers just in case I have to reformat again in the future. This site is great I look forward to being a part of this community. Thanks CAM and PETE>.....
