Go here, down load and install prime95, run its torture test it will test mobo, psu, cpu, ram, and heat .

If you can run prime for 6 to 8 hours with out it stopping or failing then all this hardware is completely stable, durring the first hour or so watch the temps they will increase but if they get to high prime will fail.

Thats not memtest 86 is it? I think thats MS memory tester

But anyway, I thought you said the system was running with no lag what so ever.
Are there any problems?

It wasnt....

But it should pass mem tests with no problems. And i was only testing to XP login because that was where i was having the most problems, but perhaps it wasnt running into the problem area until further in bootup, i dunno. I also got LOTS of lag whenever i loaded a CD. Ill run memtest.

got memtest to start but all i see is garbage.

I will be pissed if this board has a hosed ram pipeline. Is that the issue you think?

Try backing off the ram timings even more and set the memfreq to 50% and rerun memtest

Got memtest to run but it found HUGE amounts of errors....

With the ram from my computer, which should be ok.

Ill probably bring it to a local store who im friends with, and see if they can run a memory tester.

You want me to manually increase the memory timings (as in, underclocking them?)

Yes try that, sometime errors will show if the timings are to low, so raise them
