For you, you could do Internet Connection Sharing.
There are several ways to connect your 360 to the internet.
1.
If you have a router, you could buy a wireless adapter that plugs into your 360 from there connects wirelessly to your router ($100)
2.
You could run an Ethernet straight from your 360 into your router or modem.
3.
Run an Ethernet one end into the computer the other end into the 360. Then enable ICS on your computer:
Start>Control Panel>Classic View>Network Connections
Right click on your wireless connection>click properties >go tot eh advanced tab> then check the ICS first check box.
Now try a Xbox Live Test:
If the DNS fails:
On your wireless computer your ICSing go to:
Start ->run -->type CMD --->in cmd type "ipconfig/all" without the quotes.
Look for the DNS servers. Now manually insert those in for your DNS servers on your 360.
On your computer if you get an error saying IP addresses are conflicting:
You need to login into your Router admin panel and change your Default Gateway IP. In my admin panel its called IP Address but your comptuer sees it has the gateway.
Let me know if yu need further help.
