My mom wants to have a party at home for her birthday, and instead of hiring a DJ, she wants to me to play some songs from my computer. What i need to know is....how do i connect regular stereo speakers (2 large ones) to my computer?.....what do i need to go about doing this?

Thanx in advance!

Howdy:

You can get an adapter from most electronic stores (Radio Shack would be a good bet) that will allow you to use the speaker jack on your PC with regular speakers..

THIS would be an example of a single.. You can also get an adapter that will combine two mono plugs into a single RCA (computer speaker) jack..

for that full stereo joy, etc. go with this-
http://www.radioshac...a..._id=274-369

plug that to the speaker out of the PC (usually the green jack), then run a standard RCA cable from the adaptor to an input on your stereo.
load up a playlist in media player, winamp, whatever, and your all set.
have fun!
