well yeah
Im with AOL
Thompson Speedtouch 585 v6 Router currently using as a modem

so yeah here the problem
i had the problem of my internet disconnecting itself
so i called up AOL technical problems
now they fixed the issue of disconnecting automatically
yet
my internet cannot handle several programs
like lets say
i put on Bitlord .... the moment i load a page on firefox/surf the net .... Bitlord stop working and so does my firefox.... and the internet still says it connected
so all i do is close both.... and when i use bitlord alone its all fine same if i do this with firefox so i have to keep them seperate
but the thing is i want to do both...
download and surf the internet

but it isnt working now...
so isit best for me to call AOL again?
but the thing is if i was to say i am downloading and also trying to surf while downloading wouldnt that be a bad thing? since like Downloading from Torrents is quite the illegal work right???

No help on BitLord, suffice to say the best thing you can do with it is uninstall it. AOL will probably tell you the same thing.
Your symptoms, however, are indicative of either a software issue or a provider issue, most likely an issue with your computer. This sort of behaviour can be caused by firewall software such as ZoneAlarm, Norton, etc.

i kinda removed ZoneAlarm recently....
well today i called AOL to fix up my disconnecting issues with my router
yeah so they reconfigured it
and after that
i still get issues i need to make a call later... atm it like 1am nearly
i doubt i get any technical services at this time

but it disconnects when i got bitlord on and the moment i load a page on firefox all activity on the internet CEASE!!
this is just soo odd
atm im thinking it just the service providers causing problems for me
and the fact im not directly connecting to AOL
but just through the router (directly by the speedtouch page)

and my pc never had a problem like a few weeks back
