I had a spyware issue that I received help on from Rorschach112 who recommended I post here (see thread) http://www.geekstogo...view=getnewpost

When applying the final fixes suggested, I now get 2 strange login prompts when opening my browser going to my home page (MSN) from both Firefox and IE. See below

Enter user name and password for "" at http://bp.specificclick.net (with a user name and password dialog box)

I hit cancel, then one more pops up

Enter user name and password "bp.specificclick.net" at http://bp.specificclick.net (with a user name and password dialog box)

I hit cancel it the browser is fine from that point.

Everything else is running perfectly.

Hi
I think we have to boot you back to Malware
I will contact Rorshach112 as I am not allowed to advise on malware.
Can you change your home page from msn to google.com (if you don't know how let me know)
Check clear history and clear cookies
Close the browser reboot the computer and restart the browser.
Cheers
Peterm

Hello AZSCTACO

I need you to run one more scan back in your malware removal topic, if the problem persists after that then come back here.
