When i turned on my computer it was just blank not even the windows xp startup thingy didn't come on . i was just wondering what could possibly be the problem.

You might have to give us more information.
What version of Vista are you running?
Is it a dual boot with XP?
Did it work before?
Did you add anything new such as a program, update, etc?

i don't know what a dual boot is. it was working fine in the days before but yesterday it wouldnt come on at all. i don't remember adding anything.
