I've recently had a hard drive failure and just getting my pc back up and running. But for the life of me I can't find the audio driver for a Emachine D3315. I have looked on their website but have had no luck. Any help would be great, thanks.

Hi Nantuck I'm Cameron how are you doing besides this problem? Luckily read below...

Try this, this should work for you:

When you go here scroll down till you see "Realtek AC97 Audio Driver" and click "WDM_A404.exe" then run it or save it depending if your using Firefox or IE. Either way just run it and install it and you have sound (;

Realtek AC97 Audio Driver
Win98/ME/2K/XP/2K03(32/64 bits)

Hope this helps,

The sound drivers are usually incorporated inti the chipset drivers for the Nforce 410 chipset. I cannot find that chipset drivers so it may be something just for the Emachines. Here is a driver that is close to what you need, but i do not know if it will work.

Can you do a restore and bring back the sound drivers?

But here is a website that refutes the Nvidia drivers so i really don't know if they will work.

And some more AC97 Nforce 410 chipset sound drivers.

The above may help you look for what you need.
